Who we are and how to reach us
HN Health Turkey is a health tourism coordination company (an intermediary organisation) based in Muratpaşa, Antalya, Türkiye. For anything in this notice, including requests about your own data, write to info@hnhealthturkey.com.
We are the data controller for the information you send us through this website. Once your request is forwarded to a health facility with your consent, that facility becomes a separate controller for the clinical data it collects from you, under its own notice.
What data we collect
We only collect what we need to answer your request and organise the practical side of a visit:
- Identity and contact details — name, surname, telephone or WhatsApp number, e-mail address.
- Request details — the area of care you are interested in and anything you choose to write to us.
- Travel and logistics details — dates, flight information, accommodation and transfer preferences, where you ask us to arrange them.
- Technical data — limited website usage data, as described in our cookie policy.
We do not ask for health data through this website, and the request form is not a medical evaluation. Please do not send test results, diagnoses, photographs or other medical records through the form. If clinical information is needed, the health facility collects it directly from you.
Why we process it and on what legal basis
We process your data to reply to your enquiry, to match it with a suitable authorised health facility, to arrange appointments, transfer, accommodation and interpreting, and to keep a written record of the coordination we carried out.
Our legal grounds are your explicit consent for forwarding your request to a facility, performance of a contract or steps taken at your request for the coordination services, and our legitimate interest in keeping accurate records and in protecting the service against misuse. Where Turkish law requires us to keep records, the ground is our legal obligation.
Sharing with authorised health facilities
With your explicit consent, we share your contact details and the subject of your request with one or more health facilities in Antalya that are licensed by the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Health and authorised to treat patients from abroad. You are told in writing which facility is involved before you commit to anything.
Beyond that, we share data only with service providers who act for us under contract (for example transfer and accommodation providers, interpreters, and the suppliers who host this website and our e-mail), and with public authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for third-party advertising.
International transfers
Your data is processed in Türkiye. Some of our suppliers — for example hosting and e-mail providers — may store data on servers inside the European Economic Area. Where data leaves Türkiye, we rely on your explicit consent or on the safeguards permitted by Article 9 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) and, where the GDPR applies, on an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep data
Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are kept for up to two years, so that we can answer you if you come back to us, and are then deleted or anonymised.
Where coordination actually takes place, we keep the record of what was arranged for ten years, which is the general period under Turkish commercial and tax legislation. Clinical records are kept by the health facility under its own retention rules, not by us.
Your rights
Under Article 11 of the KVKK and, where it applies, the GDPR, you may:
- learn whether we process your data, and ask for a copy of it;
- ask us to correct data that is incomplete or wrong;
- ask us to delete data, or to restrict how we use it;
- withdraw your consent at any time, which stops any further sharing with facilities;
- object to processing based on our legitimate interests;
- ask for your data in a portable form.
Write to info@hnhealthturkey.com with enough detail for us to identify you. We answer within 30 days and we do not charge for it.
Complaints
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK Kurumu) at kvkk.gov.tr. If you are in the EEA or the UK, you may also complain to your local supervisory authority.
We would rather hear from you first — most issues are resolved quickly by e-mail.
